What the petition asks
'Start Life Start Young Start Politics' In order to engage young people in Politics and in the world around them Politics must be made compulsory for all students in schools and needs to start at Year 7. There has never been a more important time for young people to be aware and active in Politics.
This Petition is sponsored by the students of New Hall School It is part of the students campaign for young people to be far more involved and aware of the issues which face the UK and the world in which they live. This cannot wait as young people are not getting enough political education withing schools It is part of our campaign Start Life Start Young Start Politics and is designed to give all your people the knowledge to have an informed and educated voice #startlifestartyoungstartpolitics
Why it was rejected

Citizenship Education taught as a stand alone subject in all secondary schools.
