Challenge the legal validity of any UK-EU agreement since the mandate to leave

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

UK Government must conduct an investigation & reverse any such agreements. The validity of the Withdrawal Agreement must be determined by law given the mandate. Theresa May & all responsible politicians must be held to account to the fullest extent permissible by law to uphold British democracy.
The UK invoked Article 50 of the Treaty on the EU on 29 March 2017 following a referendum on 23 June 2016 which resulted in a majority to leave.
There is significant evidence that the then Prime Minister Theresa May and her cabinet continued to agree to further integration with the EU after these dates. For example, agreements were signed to further integration of the UK into the EU Armed Force despite a clear mandate to the contrary.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The decision as to whether an action is lawful is a decision for the courts.
