What the petition asks
Having 2 children with very high prescriptions more than +8 means staggering costs at the opticians on a regular basis, Just to have the glasses thinned so that a) they are not to heavy on their faces. B) They fit in a frame without distorting their faces
C)to enable them to have the best eye care
C)to enable them to have the best eye care
Voucher B does not cover the cost of thinner lenses recommended by ophthalmologists. In order to provide the recommended lense thinning it is costing parents hundreds of pounds they simply cannot afford. High Street opticians set the price of childrens glasses with lenses at one price and the voucher does not cover the cost of thinning which is vital for higher prescription lenses.
Please help these children to get the best eye care at a young age when it is so important.
