Commit to adopting the EU's anti-tax-avoidance legislation regardless of Brexit.

What the petition asks
Brexit is tainted by claims it is a ploy by wealthy tax-avoiders to dodge EU legislation due to come into force in January 2020. A commitment to adopt the legislation would clear the air, help bring the country together, and secure the proper funding of public services after Brexit.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The Finance Act 2019 includes measures to ensure the UK is compliant with the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
