Petition · past parliament

After the Supreme Courts judgement, Boris Johnson should resign as PM.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

After the Supreme Courts ruling on the 24th September 2019 that he falsely prorogued Parliament, Boris Johnsons position as Prime Minister is no longer tenable, he should resign.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The resignation of the Prime Minister would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
