What the petition asks

Both sides in Brexit claimed lies and deceit from the other. A Prime Minister has been found guilty of lying to the Queen. Leveston 1+2 clearly create lay out a legal imperitive and justification to take action on media manipulation dividing our society. The public do not know who to trust anymore.

a new independent body, fact checking all major media and political sources and articles, with reports accessible to the public the same day to quickly cross reference for accuracy, is essential to protect our society from this new age of misinformation, where two sides can live in completely opposing realities and bold faced lies go unchallenged in their ears. This body must have real power to deliver serious consequences when patterns of dishonest behaviour emerge
