Petition · past parliament

To revise the mental health system for children and adults.

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

From personal and work experience, the lack of help for children and adults with mental health issues is a huge worry. 8 to 10 month waiting lists, people asking for help and not getting it. And the fact that suicide is rapidly on the rise which is quite clearly due to the lack of help available.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you are concerned about mental health care, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.

You might like to sign one of these petitions:

Increase mental health care funding
Put more money and resources into mental health care.
Set up a separate department allocated to mental health.
