MAKE LGV AWARENESS PART OF THE CURRENT UK LEARNER DRIVER CURRICULUM.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Being a LGV driver myself I find that there are too many accidents on the UK public roads between cars and LGV vehicle's. I believe that if LGV awareness was made part of the current UK learner driver curriculum that it would help to reduce the number of accidents.

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. Large and long vehicles are included within the Highway Code already. You can see details here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/the-highway-code

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
