If companies cannot mislead us to sell us cereal political parties should not be allowed to mislead us to gain power.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we are not sure whether you would like political advertising to be self-regulated, as commercial advertising is, or whether you would like the Government to set up a new body to regulate it.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
