Require UK newspaper owners to be domiciled in the UK

What the petition asks
Currently, the owners of our newspapers may be using aggressive tax avoidance schemes. This would be a serious conflict of interest as newspapers may avoid reporting tax avoidance by large multinationals and extremely wealthy individuals, including themselves.
Newspaper owners should not be entitled to non-domiciled resident status. All shareholders of newspapers should be expected to pay tax with no avoidance whatsoever.
The British press is already least trusted in the EU: https://www.pressgazette.co.uk/survey-finds-that-uk-written-press-is-by-some-way-the-least-trusted-in-europe/
If this petition becomes law, this will go a long way into remedying that.
