What the petition asks

Once a child dies any state benefit your receive for them stops after 8 weeks. So in my case I need to find a job just 8 short weeks later or not be able to feed us or pay bills. Bereavement allowance is only paid to partners for 12 months! What is worse than losing a child. Parents count too

It is wrong that this pressure is spur on lost grieving parents. No one is helping us. Everyone expects counselling to be thrown at you.
Your just left struggling with everything it’s all so very wrong.!
I’m not the only person this has happened too, I know a lot the system needs changing now
