Remove the 5% tax on sanitary products.

What the petition asks
Sanitary products currently have a 5% tax added to them and they are considered a luxury when they are essential to all females. Statistics show the average female spends around £13 a month on periods which is something they didn't ask for and the government are discriminating them with a 5% tax.
We are students completing an NCS social action project and ending period poverty is our main aim.
