What the petition asks

This is so that MP'S cannot remain in parliament either as independent nor representing a different party than the one they were elected to represent.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Politicians who changes parties should have to go through a new By Election.
