Petition · past parliament
MPs to work weekends until will of people, Brexit, occurs.

What the petition asks
The Brexit debate has continued for too long. The people voted and the government is not enacting the vote. They have already missed one deadline and it now looks like they will miss another. It is time our MPs did the job they are paid for and to do this should work weekends until Brexit occurs.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
Members of Parliament may currently undertake work in their constituencies at weekends.
You could start a new petition calling for the House of Commons to sit 7 days a week until Brexit is resolved, if that's what you'd like to see happen.
