What the petition asks

In the past few years more than 45 MPs have defected from their elected party and have not offered their position for by-election. Most constituents vote for the party no the ego of the individual MP

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Politicians who changes parties should have to go through a new By Election.
