What the petition asks
Blame the deed, not the breed. Stop punishing innocent dogs that have done no harm, target the irresponsible owners.
I am asking for the law to be changed to protect the public from dangerous and out of control vicious dogs, for them to be assessed on temperament, not their body measurements!
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We understand you would like to stop Breed Specific Legislation (you might want to spell this out in any new petition), but it's not clear what action you would like the Government to take to protect the public from dangerous and out of control vicious dogs.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
