What the petition asks
On 5th March I should have been in labour, instead I started this petition to try to change a system that let me and so many women and babies down.
My blog is here if you wish to know more details and why these changes should be implemented: https://medium.com/shout-in-the-dark/a-miscarriage-of-law-30d63ff3ac4e
The Government should fund -
All hospitals should offering counselling and remembrance certificates after pregnancy loss.
All staff in EPAU and maternity undergoing training in language use and bereavement.
All hospitals to offer a scan and surgical management within a week of miscarrying/confirmatory scan.
Optional statutory maternity leave and death registration from 16 weeks.
Optional Investigations after 2 (non-consecutive) miscarriages.
