Publish local coronavirus cases daily instead of weekly

What the petition asks
Be open, honest and transparent with the reporting of Covid-19 cases in the UK. This means reporting new cases as they happen, including where the cases have been, where they contracted the virus.
Reporting new cases as they happen allows the UK public to protect ourselves by self reducing social contact in worst hit places. This will help to delay the spread. Due to schools etc remaining open, we need to be able to make informed choices to lessen our chances of catching the virus.

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Since this petition was created, the Chief Medical Officer has confirmed that daily updates will continue.
