Prevent the closure of the A38 Bridgewater Rd North at Toneway Creech Castle Jtn

What the petition asks
We want suitable alternatives to the proposed closure of the A38 Bridgwater Rd North, to carry out the work, as a major road will be closed for around one year. Example - carry the work out at night or open and close the proposed area so it can be reopened during peak times.
The area around the Monkton Heathfields sites has seen much disruption and unfinished construction of roads due to the building of new homes with the road infrastructure still incomplete this added work will put further strain on local residents, businesses and commuters alike. Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The proposed works on the A358 which cover the Toneway Creech Castle Junction are the responsibility of Somerset West and Taunton Council. You could submit a petition to the Council expressing your concerns at: https://www.somersetwestandtaunton.gov.uk/your-council/petitions/.
