Start using eco-friendly methods of transport to deliver food in city centres

What the petition asks
introduce a law that stops takeaways and restaurants from using cars and mopeds as a means of delivering food within a radius to the town center. Pollution is damaging the country and if we start cutting down how much pollution is spread then we are saving the future generation.
I want the government to do it because not only is this saving the environment but it is a smart strategic move because if we can start of small then imagine the greater cause, it will boost revenue as there are a lot of start-up companies that can benefit from this move.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be a matter for individual councils to take action on.
