Remove the protected status of badgers.

What the petition asks
Badgers are an unendangered apex predator that kill the likes of hedgehogs that are now an endangered species. As they hold protected status yet are unendangered themselves the population is getting out of control.
Also continuing to then transmit TB, directly impacting thousands of cattle both commercial and rare breeds.
APHA say around 30,000 cattle are killed every year due to TB. Much of the slaughtered meat goes into food chain as there are no confirmed cases of humans contracting TB from infected meat. So why are the TB tests happening? Killing cattle is not solving the issue as it's not tackling the source of the problem. It is further damaging an industry that is already on its knees.
