Revoke IR35 Legislation that is causing significant damage to UK businesses

What the petition asks
Revoke IR35 legislation elements that put financial disadvantages on independent consultants when they want to be flexible and invest in the provision of services. The legislation currently creates the worst of all worlds with contractors inside IR35 worse off than permanent employees.
Putting independent consultants at a financial disadvantage is resulting in the best ones leaving organisations and causing significant damage to projects.
Experienced consultants are often parachuted into more junior roles to provide the experience to get the job done. If they end up being paid the same as far less experienced staff they wont take up the roles in the first place and companies will suffer and damage the UK economy.
