PHE to provide the exact location of COVID-19 cases every 24 hours
Rejected
12 signatures
What the petition asks
PHE to provide details of COVID19 cases every 24 hours following confirmation, by exact location to enable UK citizens to make informed decisions as to how they are able to respond in order to protect themselves
Only the government can make this decision and it requires a debate in parliament and a vote on this petition to legislate the requirement, on the basis that the virus as a notifiable disease is now a public emergency.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Since this petition was created, the Chief Medical Officer has confirmed that daily updates will continue.
