What the petition asks

1.Close our borders completely to prevent travel in and out of the UK 2.Put the UK into a 14 day minimum lock-down to allow those that are infected to present, be treated and recover
3.Ensure our healthcare workers have the necessary supplies, training, equipment to give patients the best outcomes

We strongly urge the UK government to consider their options in containing a virus of which we still know very little about and have no cure for. This virus is mutating, reactivating and not only affecting the elderly. The current death rate is 4 %, with admissions into Intensive Care at 10 %, but still early days. Without extreme measures we will see considerable loss of life not only from COVID-19, but those who require emergency treatment from other life threatening conditions.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
