Introduce limits on per customer purchases in all supermarkets

What the petition asks
Given the current Coronavirus pandemic, people have resorted to bulk-buying in supermarkets, hoarding essentials and leaving shelves empty of products that people need.
There are many people in the UK who cannot afford to or manage to buy in bulk without help, who are being harmed by others who prevent them shopping for essential goods.
The Government should intervene, legislating to limit the number of essential products that customers can purchase in all supermarkets. Limits should be enforced to make sure the most people can get what they need, and avoid high prices or empty shelves.
