Suspend Brexit negotiations and divert resources to tackling COVID-19 pandemic

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

Given the potential scale of disruption caused by tackling the COVID-19 pandemic, it will be damaging to the UK economy and people's lives to continue with Brexit negotiations.

If this requires an extension, this should be sought as soon as possible.
The scale of the changes being talked about as part of the Brexit negotiations are not compatible with the safe handling of the potential disruption that could be caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

To avoid any unnecessary economic impact or unnecessary loss of life, we would like the Government to focus the resources currently dedicated to Brexit negotiations to the handling of the pandemic.
