For universities in the UK to be closed in order to stop the spread of COVID-19

What the petition asks
We would like the government to temporarily close all universities in order to stop the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
This would allow staff and students opportunities to be isolated from large masses of people in order to contain the virus and to protect the many many students in the UK. University students and staff members come into contact with hundreds of other students on a typical day at university and it would be safer for this so be temporarily suspended to protect individuals.
