What the petition asks

Start delay phase for CO-VID 19 in the UK now as a preventative measure for tackle the spread of the virus across the UK.

People are already dieing, we have cases throughout the country over 300 and this number will end up in the possibly 100000’s if we don’t try everything to stop the spread

It is already known that this cannot be easily contained and we are already seeing community transmission. So why are we waiting to act now, waiting for numbers to significantly rise before beginning the delay phase.

close schools, limit gathering, work from home now instead of waiting then going into lockdown

Washing hands is not enough, tackle this now to save more lives being lost, to help protect the NHS, Economy. It’s clear we will not cope if this gets out of hand.
