For the Government to legislate to abolish the Benefits Cap.

What the petition asks
To introduce legislation that removes the Benefits Cap.
The Benefits Cap was brought in during the discredited era of austerity, where it was wrongly stated that people on benefits were receiving far more than people in employment. This was never the reality for the majority. The Benefits Cap is an existing relic of a failed agenda which is having a detrimental effect on the lives of those in receipt of benefits.
