Petition · past parliament

Drastic action needs to be taken now in order to stop COVID-19.

What the petition asks

The government needs to swiftly change from a stance of pathetic inaction, to one of extreme action, in order to stop COVID-19. This involves copying Korea and China’s drastic attempts - as they work.
Such attempts are:
1. All citizens given ffp3 face masks
2. Lockdowns
3. Mega rapid testing
COVID-19 is a pandemic with a death rate of 6% in Italy. Seasonal flu’s death rate is 0.1%. The COVID-19 death rate could increase. Italian doctors have said to ‘not be afraid of massively strict measures to keep people safe’.

The world heath organisation has criticised most governments around the world for not taking enough drastic action. This pandemic is stoppable given the correct severity, type and sophistication of action.

I believe the government’s actions are extremely inadequate.
