What the petition asks

Many of the UK’s local roads are in a state of disrepair and this can cause very significant hardship in the form of excessive car repair costs to families and businesses, and lost productivity waiting for roadside rescue.

I want the Government to provide a budget and and agree a timeline for all repairs and, until that has been achieved, a compensation scheme underwritten by national government, to prevent ongoing compensation claims against already underfunded local government.
