Give year 11s their predicted/target GCSE grades

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

GCSEs are already stressful and in addition to the coronavirus it is becoming the key issue for students sitting their GCSEs this year. The government as well as various exam boards are unsure and unclear as to what will happen in the future for us - causing a great panic as we lie uncertain.
By us getting some form of confirmed grade will at least allow us to continue in peace and will reduce the level of stress and pressure that our teachers are feeling.I can see how this can be seen as an easy route for GCSE sitters however these grades are "target" and "predicted" grades. These grades are formed based on our level of ability to achieve them so they do prove valid as they are created on behalf of our knowledge and skills. Please consider this petition thoroughly.-2020 GCSE students.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

Decisions about exams are a matter for exam boards and individual schools, and are not a matter for the UK Government or Parliament.
