Stop Universal Credit make deductions from benefits for student loans

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Stop Universal Credit make deductions from benefits for student loans. It is a loan we need to pay off not a salary or benefit. We are being robbed for our money we are entitled to by law.
It is effecting peoples and families mental and emotional health. Its is making us financially vulnerable to Support our children and families. Students have discussed this on a daily basis. It is not only effecting adults but also children. It is causing alarm and distress to people and we need the government to stop robbing us for our money we are entitled to. It is a LOAN not a salary or income, we will eventually have to pay it back, so realistically the government is taking away our money
