Initiate a reinforced disinfection plan across public transport in the UK.

What the petition asks
Given the global emergency linked to COVID-19 and the amount of daily passengers using public transport in the UK, we ask the Government to imminently initiate a permanent and effective disinfection plan, ensuring the highest level of hygiene whilst mitigating contamination risks at best.
The number of COVID-19 cases (and deaths) in the UK is growing by the minute. Less than 3 years ago researchers from London Metropolitan University found 9 of the world’s most dangerous superbugs through swabs on the London Tube (121 different bacteria and moulds in total). Urgent action is needed, with an effective, comprehensive and regular disinfection plan ensuring the highest level of safety and hygiene to all citizens and visitors using public transport vehicles in the country.
Why it was rejected
