Allow non-UK relatives to come to the UK to support families through coronavirus

What the petition asks
The Government should change immigration rules to allow long-term visits by non-UK parents or relatives to support family members in the UK. This could help contain coronavirus, providing care for children and the elderly at home.
The current immigration rules for visiting visas for relatives can make it difficult for residents in the UK to bring in their relatives or retired parents who are not financially independent. Teachers, nurses, support workers or civil servants who do not earn much should have the right to be supported by their non-UK family members.
