Increase the state pension

What the petition asks
Start paying the state pension at the equivalent of the National Minimum Wage for an average working week (currently 37 hours)
The NMW is what the government expect people to live on but the state pension is approximately half of the NMW, the government is contradicting itself if it is setting a minimum wage but expecting pensioners to live on half of that.
