Petition · past parliament
Cancel upcoming A levels and give students UCAS predicted grades. Delay GCSEs.

What the petition asks
UCAS predicted grades should be fixed as students' official grades for this year. Those not on UCAS could use previous evidence (such as mocks) to determine A level grades, or could opt to sit next year if they have no university offers pending. GCSEs should be delayed until pandemic contained.
The sitting of these exams now puts students and their families at risk. A levels can't be delayed so UCAS predicted grades must be used.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Decisions about exams are a matter for exam boards and individual schools, and are not a matter for the UK Government or Parliament.
