Require courts to make an attachment of earnings order where a debt is owed

What the petition asks
We want the government to require a court to make an attachment of earnings order when it rules that a debtor owes a person/business money.
The debt would automatically be paid back from future earnings made by the debtor at an affordable rate via the debtors NI number, making it easier for people to get back what is rightfully theirs.
The current situation makes it too difficult to get money back from a debtor and too easy for a debtor to evade paying back what they owe. If the situation was rectified hard working businesses and people that are owed money would rightfully get their money back and struggle less. The change would also serve as a much needed deterrent to people trying to avoid paying their debts. This change could boost the economy by keeping more businesses running and creating more taxable income.
