What the petition asks
Sir Patrick Vallance and Nudge unit has proposed that 60% of the population would need to be infected with coronavirus to get herd immunity.
We need government to know what it's proposing, options of vaccine and containment considered. Prof Anthony Costello raised concerns it's against WHO policy.

This puts alot of vulnerable people like elderly and those with immunosuppression, diabetes and underlying cardiac and respiratory conditions at risk which is a concern This strategy has not been used by any other country as they opted to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
We also need WHO Director general Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus approval or advice of this proposal as his message is clear that "The idea of countries to shift from containtent to mitigation is wrong and dangerous.
