Provide COVID-19 testing for all UK residents with suspected exposure/symptoms

What the petition asks
The World Health Organisation has said countries should find and test every case of coronavirus to stop the pandemic. The UK government is only testing the most seriously ill who present at hospital.
a) The UK will not be able to track accurately cases and obtain statistics which are crucial in fighting this pandemic.
b) People will not know whether they have been exposed causing unnecessary alarm. They will continue to live in fear and self-imposed isolation.
c) People cannot take steps to protect the most vulnerable (whether they are colleagues/friends/family).
d) Others countries such as Sth Korea have been able to manage the outbreak through testing resulting in less extreme lockdowns.
