What the petition asks

For the latest movies and TV series to be shown on terrestrial TV, and on digital TV British broadcasting apps, to keep the general public entertained at home, due to the coronavirus outbreak, where many people are staying at home/self isolating, because many other televised events have be cancelled

To persuade TV broadcasting companies in the UK to do this, so the general public are entertained during this difficult time

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. This would be an operational decision for TV companies.

You might like to write to the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and other TV companies to make this suggestion.
