Pay all 0 hours, bank and agency staff within education during COVID 19 Crisis

Rejected 19 signatures

What the petition asks

Can the government help to ensure the education of our students and the financial strength of our teachers whilst as a country we battle COVID19?

Paying zero hours, bank and agency staff the regular agreed hours over the coming months and years will help protect many households in a tough time.
1000s of teachers who work via agencies, directly with colleges and schools may suffer going forward due to no fault of their own.

Can the Government help provide some security to our educators that they will be financially able to afford the coming hardship when they may not necessarily be sick by providing extra funding to cover these gaps?

No one should be worried about finances whilst family members and themselves are unwell. If extra funding is not possible ask institutions to reconsider.
