For all covid-19 symptoms to be tested

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like to see the government change the covid-19 testing system, to test patients with covid-19 symptoms in all walks of life and surroundings.
This way we can protect our elderly and the vulnerable, we can establish who is at the greatest risk with isolation, for the safety of others this way we can also have a greater sense of numbers infected and a true sense of recovery which maybe reassurance to a lot of us, theses are terrifying times and we are not being shown the evidence to support your decisions.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The conduct of tests is a clinical decision for the NHS, not the UK Government or Parliament.

We have published a petition calling for the Governemnt to provide publicly accessible testing for coronavirus around the UK, which you might want to sign: Provide publicly accessible testing for the covid-19 virus around the UK now.
