Ask the government to support fisherman now the markets have closed

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

After a really hard winter of wind and our fishing boat being tied up most of it, we go into the prawn season with confidence that we will survive another year.
But no, we are told today that all export markets are closed to France and Spain and no one buys British fish!
Fisherman get NO subsidies for lack of earnings due to bad weather or anything else.
Please please sign the this petition to ask the government to step in and give help to all of the fisherman who are totally on stop.
It has gone on far too long that they are totally left to deal with whatever is thrown at them, it’s a hard dangerous job and I hope people will give support.
Thank you
