What the petition asks
Recognise the severity and urgency of the coronavirus situation and its financial impact on the vulnerable
Freelancers, those on low or insecure incomes, those facing redundancy, and those self isolating are all at real risk of eviction and destitution over the next few months. Many more of us will need to work from home, including DWP staff. All benefits and pension bureaucracy needs to stop and a basic income given to all.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
