Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

test in the community for coronavirus.
Every contry in the world that has had outbreaks of coronavirus had kept up testing in order to keep check on how quickly it is spreading and to see if the actions they are taking are having an impact to slow or stop the virus, We as a country also need to know how many true cases we have and if any of the actions that we are taking is having any impact in slowing or stopping the spread, more tests means less deaths.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for the issue you raise. The conduct of tests is a clinical decision for the NHS, not the UK Government or Parliament.

We have published a petition calling for the Governemnt to provide publicly accessible testing for coronavirus around the UK, which you might want to sign: Provide publicly accessible testing for the covid-19 virus around the UK now.
