What the petition asks

Shortages have been caused by profiteering by bulk buying, then reselling on sites like Amazon & EBAY.

Its exploiting vulnerable people, causing panic & shortages.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Government and Parliament are not responsible for setting prices for consumer goods.

You could start a petition calling for the Government to introduce legislation requiring retailers not to sell certain types of products for more than their Recommended Retail Price.
