What the petition asks

Close UK borders for both air and land travel, schools, universities, and workplaces, as well as other public places with the exception of supermarkets/smaller grocery stores, as well as important facilities such as power stations, water supply stations, etc. for two weeks.
To protect at-risk groups from the spread of COVID-19 and to minimise the damage from the pandemic.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
