13 signatures
What the petition asks
After 10 years of austerity cuts and outsourcing parts of the NHS the Government must now transfer profits from outsourced parts of the NHS and urgently re-direct those monies back into the NHS in order to fight the spread of Coronavirus.
Coronavirus is “the worst public health crisis for a generation”. There is an urgent need to better fund and equip the NHS and all its health care professionals to fight the spread of Coronavirus across the UK.
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
We have accepted this petition calling for the Government to provide extra funding for the NHS to combat coronavirus, which you could sign if you wished: Provide an Emergency fund for Health & Social Care Providers due to COVID-19.
