Close all UK schools to prevent the spreading of COVID-19
Rejected

What the petition asks
We urge the government to reconsider their decision to not close schools as many young people are at risk (those with lung problems and weak immune systems) but also teachers, dinner helpers...
Many young people may live with or have close contact with grandparents or elderly, vulnerable people. The fact that our Prime Minister can simply say that we should expect to lose some of our loved ones before their time is ridiculously unfair and seems to be a way of easily dismissing our pleas. Shut down schools and follow the leadership of many other European countries.
